Core Natural now distributing TA-65MD in Canada

T.A. Sciences of New York, NY, has named Core Natural Limited, Newmarket ON, to be the Canadian distributor of TA-65 MD. According to TA Sciences, TA-65 is the only patented and double blind tested extract of astragalus that promotes telomerase activity in the DNA of the cells.

Telomere re-growth, a result of telomerase activation, has shown the benefits of improved eyesight, skin elasticity improvements, improved athletic endurance, noticeable improvements in the immune system and overall improvement in all organ functions.

T.A. Sciences, since 2007, has promoted the use of TA-65 through licensed doctors worldwide, and counts as their clients many of the scientists involved with studying longevity. The list also includes medical and naturopathic doctors, athletes, politicians and other professionals in all walks of life who view TA-65 as the way to stay young and fight age related decline and dysfunction.

In the 1980's, US research firm Geron Corporation found a certain cultivation of astragalus which contained a single molecule – which they named TA-65 – that activated the telomerase enzyme and proceeded to patent the extraction and testing methods.

In 2002, Geron licensed the worldwide patent rights for TA-65md as a nutraceutical to Noel Thomas Patton. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Patton and his company T.A. Sciences Corporation tested TA-65 for efficacy and safety. They found TA-65 really does activate telomerase and lengthen short telomeres. TA-65MD has been granted an NPN from the NHPD.
