Good Health Mart buys six Planet Organic, Healthy's stores

The Good Health Mart has purchased six Healthy’s and Planet Organic Living stores in the greater Toronto area for an undisclosed amount.  The deal was completed March 17. The stores are located in Burlington, Brampton, Milton, Mississauga, Guelph and Toronto.

Good Health Mart CEO Murray McMahon says, “We plan to build on the good work of these stores in their communities, and we will expand the number of product offerings to the existing customer base. We’re assuming the employment of a wonderful staff, and looking forward to working with them and continuing to build and increase our presence in each market.” This brings the total of Good Health Mart stores to 15.  •
