The first issue of CNHR rolled off the presses in May 1997. Our next issue will be our 100th, and we’ll have some special things to mark the event, including a look back at some of the most newsworthy industry stories and events over the past 16 years.

Today, over 50 per cent of North American specialty retailers have installed traffic monitoring systems in some or all stores. "Our store recently won best of the south Okanagan for "Best Health Food/Vitamin store" for 2013. We also won this award in 2011 and 2012. This award is voted on by the public. Also, Nature's Fare Markets on the whole won the CHFA Canadian retailer of the year award this year and it is the first time any retailer has won it four times!
