Research indicates that the combination of fish oil and bifidobacteria has bi-directional benefits, meaning it assists in the better absorption and utilization of both the fish oil and probiotic. A summary of the research benefits include:

Adding omega-3 to a prebiotic can increase bifidobacteria levels by up to three times and contribute to lower levels of unhealthy bacteriocides.
