Online via Twitter, conference goers were referring to the event as ‘invigorating,’ ‘inspiring,’ and ‘delicious.’ Others noted ‘had a blast’ and ‘loved being there.’
Tomas estimated total conference attendance at about 1,800 people. Approximately 800 of those were paid workshop guests. “By late December, we knew that workshop participation for 2015 would be robust. Our keynote Thursday permaculture speaker Dave Jacke ended up drawing over 170 paid attendees for his five hour intensive,” said Tomas.
The large trade show encompassed three levels this year. “Our exhibit spaces sell out each year. Not only do exhibitors find it to be a strong selling show, it’s also a wonderful opportunity to network with colleagues,” says Tomas.
Planning for next year’s event has already begun and anyone interested in exhibitor or sponsorship opportunities is encouraged to contact Tomas at 705/444-0923 or email@example.com. •
