NHP Week scheduled for November 2 to 8

Dozens of retailers and suppliers of natural health products across Canada are preparing for Natural Health Products Week (NHP Week), taking place November 2 to 8. This year, the Canadian Health Food Association’s (CHFA) initiatives will focus on continuing to educate Canadians on the benefits of NHPs by developing a positive and engaging campaign.

Dozens of retailers and suppliers of natural health products across Canada are preparing for Natural Health Products Week (NHP Week), taking place November 2 to 8. This year, the Canadian Health Food Association’s (CHFA) initiatives will focus on continuing to educate Canadians on the benefits of NHPs by developing a positive and engaging campaign.

CHFA members from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador are taking part in a collective effort to raise awareness, understanding and support for NHPs, and the important benefits they provide to millions of Canadians.

 “NHP Week has without a doubt become a key event in our industry. It is a concerted effort, developed strategically, to proactively engage consumers, giving Canadians across the country the opportunity to learn about NHPs. We also hope to support our members’ business objectives by promoting the use of the products they produce and sell,” said CHFA president Helen Long.

NHP Week is a unique opportunity for all CHFA members to participate in a Canada-wide, fully integrated public awareness campaign entirely coordinated and funded by CHFA. This year’s campaign will include national public relations and marketing activities focused on creating a positive environment for the natural health products industry.
