All systems go for Go Ontario granola bar

Taste of Nature is set to launch The Go Ontario bar at CHFA East in Toronto, which it calls the first bar using 100 per cent Ontario grown ingredients. It was the next natural evolution in Taste of Nature's "green" mandate, taking into account not only the health of consumers but also the health of our planet. Inspired by Ecosource and its organizational Youth and Local Food program, Taste of Nature has created the Go Ontario granola bar in collaboration with EcoSource and Ontario's Greenbelt. A portion of sales is donated to Ecosource to help promote better eating habits in Ontario schools. One of Go Ontario bar's goal is to help the local economy by supporting local Ontario farmers and bringing awareness into the local sustainable food movement.
