Bruce Chapman of A.Vogel retires after 30 years

After more than three decades as a field sales representative, one of Ontario’s longest serving ‘road warriors’ has called it a day.

Bruce Chapman, who joined the industry in 1995, started his career with Quest Vitamins as a territory manager and education/training manager. In 2005, he joined SISU, where he spent the next 17 years. After realignment of territory, he left the industry to pursue his own business. Two years later, he was enticed into joining A.Vogel by Tracy Creighton—whom he had worked with for years at SISU—to take over from a retiring representative in a key territory.

“Now, I am finally retiring to pursue my role as a local handyman, working alongside my wife RoseAnne, who is a leader for seniors support in our community,” says Bruce. “Way less driving and way more plumbing, painting, and woodworking!”

Bruce says some career highlights include “selling amazing products that improved the health and quality of life for consumers, winning the Jack Gahler Memorial Award for Excellence in Field Sales, and going to Switzerland with A.Vogel and seeing firsthand what an amazing brand with a 100-year legacy is all about.

“Being in the natural products world for the last 30 years has been an amazing time,” relates Bruce, “and has introduced me to many wonderful people. I will really miss Tracy, my colleagues, and all the amazing customers, but it is time for the next chapter in life.”
