Get ready for CHFI’s 2025 National Summit on Health, Movement, and Community
The National Summit on Health, Movement, and Community will be held on June 7 at Zoomer Media Studios in Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario. The Summit will build on the Canadian Health and Fitness Institute’s (CHFI) groundbreaking 2024 Forum in West Vancouver, BC, which featured 21 distinguished experts including Canada’s first Minister of Physical Activity, Carla Qualtrough.
Following an introductory address by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, various panelists will address crucial challenges such as rising mental health concerns, social isolation, and preventable chronic disease. They will explore how to practically apply lessons from elite athletes to personal health success plans for Canadians.
Confirmed speakers include Ted Temertzoglou, physical education ambassador and founder of Life is Athletic; Brent Bishop, Think Fitness and CityTV; Erin Phelan, Fitness Industry Council of Canada; Samantha Gladish, holistic nutritionist; and Ben Sporer, PhD, Olympic physiologist and performance advisor.
Please mark your calendars! The event will be livestreamed on CHFI’s YouTube channel. For more information, visit chfi.fit.
