John Holtmann Golf Tournament raises over $9,000 for Community Food Centres Canada
The annual John Holtmann Golf Tournament, held this year at the beautiful Lionhead Golf Club in Brampton, Ontario, was a huge success. With 114 golfers from across the industry participating, the event raised over $9,000 to benefit Community Food Centres Canada, an organization committed to building healthier and more connected communities.
Lynsey Walker, CHFA vice president of marketing and communications, said, “Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, as well as the incredible support of our sponsors, the event surpassed its fundraising goal. Special thanks go to our sponsors, along with our incredible swag bag sponsors.
“Thank you to all the participants, sponsors, and volunteers who made this event a success. Together, we are making a positive impact in our communities by helping to reduce food insecurity.”
